Discover Dance (Education Outreach)

Welcome to Mobile Ballet’s Discover Dance, an education outreach program. We are delighted to offer live, fully-staged presentations of classical ballets to students throughout the Gulf Coast region. Many times, Discover Dance productions are a student’s first exposure to ballet. Often, the love of dance is born.

We deeply discount our tickets to make attendance affordable for as many students as possible. Tickets for these school-day performances are $5 per student and are available by reservation only. To enhance the learning experience and prepare students for the performance, Mobile Ballet provides teachers with a comprehensive guide which includes the history of the ballet being presented, information about the composer, a ballet glossary,
photos, and explanations of various ballet steps. Teachers’ Guides for the 2009-2010 season will be available online in November 2009.
