Mobile Ballet School requires that all students be in uniform to participate in class. This enables the faculty to see the whole body for proper alignment and correction. For girls, the class uniform consists of a level-specific leotard, pink tights worn inside pink shoes, with hair in a bun (or secured if too short for a bun). A uniform skirt is also required for Junior and Senior Divisions; it will be worn on special occasions in class and for Showcase. Jewelry should be limited to stud earrings. Boys wear a white t-shirt, black tights or black shorts, white socks, and black ballet slippers.
The Dance Shop stocks our dancewear and has a list of our uniform requirements. The are located at 517 Holcombe Avenue in Mobile (251-473-3623) at at 1818 Main Street in Daphne (251-626-7680).

Primary Division: Levels 3-5
Little children love to dance. We cultivate their enthusiasm, teaching them to become aware of music, rhythm, movement, and space in relation to others. Primary Division classes help students develop strength and coordination as well as expression. Ballet techniques are gradually introduced to prepare students for more advanced training. In May, the Primary Division classes perform in our studios for parents and family members.
Junior Division: Levels 1-8
The Junior Division gradually increases the emphasis on proper body alignment and physical discipline as the students mature. Students are taught correct terminology as well as the history of dance.
Students attend class once a week in Levels 1-2. Level 3-8 students are encouraged to take as many classes as are offered for their level. Broadway-style jazz, an integral part of dance training, is introduced in Level 4.
Senior Division: Intermediate & Advanced
Our Senior Division offers intensive training in ballet and pointe to pre-professional students. Intermediate and Advanced students take a minimum of four classes a week and are encouraged to take all classes offered at their level. Jazz class is also available for Senior Division students.
Adult Division
Many adults in our community find dance is an excellent way to combine meaningful exercise with an understanding of the technical aspects of ballet. We encourage you to join our intermediate adult ballet class and have fun learning the “art” of healthy living.
